How to Cook Black Eyed Pea ?

Soaking the dried cowpeas one day before and cooking them in a pressure cooker will shorten the cooking time. To prepare a more delicious and high quality pea recipe, the dried peas must ne washed. You can add up to 1 tablespoon of olive oil or liquid oil to prevent foaming while cooking. To prevent the dry black eyedpea from gassing, you should soak it in water and wait. Then you should pour this water nad wash it in water and then boil it. After boiling, you should strain the black water and cook it again.

Black Eyed Pea Food Ingredients
1,5 Cups of Black Eyed Peas
1 Chopped Onion
7 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 Fresh Red Pepper
1 Tablespoons of Tomato Paste
9 Cups (1800 ml) Boiling Water
How to Make Black Eyed Peas ?
Put 1,5 cups (300 ml) of dried black eyed peas in a strainer.
Wash the black eyed peas well with plenty of water.
Drain the washed dried peas.
Put the dried black eyed peas that you have washed in a pot.
Pour 5 glasses (1000 ml) of boiled water over it and boil it well for 15 minutes.
Strain the black water of the boiled dried black eyed peas.
In a seperate pot, add 7 tablespoons of olive oil.
Add 1 chopped onion and saute the onions well.
Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste.
Continue sauting.
Add the boiled dried black eyed peas.
Mix the ingredients well.
Add 4 cups (800 ml) of boiled water to the dish.
Add 1 fresh red pepper.
Cover the pot and cook the dish for 30 minutes.
Serve your food hot.
