Bean Stew Ingredients
2 Cups (400 ml) Soaked Dry White Beans
1 Chopped Onion
2 Cloves of Chopped Garlic
1 Tablespoon of Tomato Paste
6 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 Liter of Boiling Water
How to Cook Dry White Beans?
Soak the dry white beans in warm water overnight.
Wash the dried beans with plenty of water and drain well.
Put the washed dried beans into a deep pot.
Add enough boiling water to the deep pot.
Boil the dry beans about fifteen minutes.
Drain the boiled dry beans.
Pour six tablespoons of olive oil into the deep pot.
Add the chopped onions into the deep pot.
Saute the chopped onions well.
Add the chopped garlic.
Keep sauting the ingredients well.
Add one tablespoon of tomato paste.
Add boiled dry beans into the pot.
Add five cups of boiling water (one thousand mililiter) into the deep pot.
Cook the dry bean dish until the beans get soften.
Serve the dried bean dish hot.
You can serve the dry beans dish with pickles, white rice and bulgur rice.
