How to make Clotted Cream or Kaymak?
You can consume milk cream at any time of the day. It will make delicious pairings with honey at breakfast and with some desserts such as bread kadayıf or şambali dessert for lunch and dinner. Milk cream will win your heart both with its appearance and taste. It is very easy to make clotted cream at home rather than buying it ready-made from the markets. It is possible to make delicious milk cream only with fresh cow's milk. Be sure, after making the milk cream, you will definitely want to consume it on your toasted bread with honey for your breakfast.
To make clotted cream firstly cook the raw milk or fresh cow's milk on the stove over low heat until it thickens. However, be careful not to stir the milk while it is boiling. Turn off the stove when the cream is started to form on the milk which is boiling on low heat. Let the milk cool. After the milk has rested for about fifteen or twenty minutes, it will be covered with cream. Collect this accumulated cream and transfer it to a separate bowl. After the milk rests for a while, cream will form again, but not as much as before. In this way, you will have clotted cream twice. Let the clotted cream you put in the bowl harden by putting it in the freezer. When the cream is frozen, you can consume it by pouring some honey on it at breakfast or putting the clotted cream on various sherbet desserts and enjoy it.
