Cabbage Rolls Recipe Ingredients
2 Cups of White Baldo Rice (400 mililiter)
3 Chopped Onions
Half Bunch of Chopped Parsley
1 Dessertspoon of Dried Mint
1 Dessertspoon of Black Pepper
1 Dessertspoon of Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tablespoon of Pepper Paste
1 Tablespoon of Tomato Paste
1 Cup of Olive Oil (200 mililiter)
For Above
3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon of Salt
How to make Cabbage Rolls?
Add two cups (400 mililiter) white baldo rice in a deep bowl.
Wash the rice well with plenty of water.
Drain the water of the rice well.
Put the washed rice in a deep bowl.
Add three chopped onions.
Add half bunch of chopped parsley.
Add one dessertspoon of red pepper flakes.
Add one dessertspoon of dried mint.
Add one dessertspoon of black pepper.
Add one tablespoon of pepper paste.
Add one tablespoon of tomato paste.
Add one cup (200 mililiter) of olive oil.
Mix all the ingredients well.
At another place, remove the outer leaves of the cabbage.
Remove the root of the cabbage.
Put the whole cabbage in a pot.
Pour boiling water into the pot.
Remove the leaves of the cabbage one by one.
Boil the leaves of the cabbage about five minutes.
Put the leaves to another bowl for cooling.
Remove the middle part of the boiled leaves which are so hard.
Fill the cabbage leaves with the mixture and make rolls.
Put some cabbage leaves on the base of the pot.
Place the cabbage rolls on the leaves one by one.
Pour three tablespoons of olive oil on the cabbage rolls.
Add one teaspoon of salt.
Pour boiling water until it covers all the cabbage rolls.
Close a plate on the cabbage rolls.
Control the water level. All the cabbage rolls must be under water.
Cook the cabbage rolls about fourty five minutes on the low heat.
Serve the cabbage rolls hot with plain or garlic yogurt.
