Bulgur Wheat Pilaf Ingredients
1,5 Cups Bulgur Wheat (300 ml)
2,5 Cups Boiling Water (500 ml)
1 Tablespoon of Butter
4 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons of Sunflower Oil
1 Teaspoon of Salt
How to Cook Bulgur Wheat?
Wash one and a half cups (three hundred mililiter) bulgur wheat with plenty of water.
Drain the washed burghul well.
Add one tablespoon of butter into a deep pan.
Add four tablespoons of olive oil into this pan.
Add two tablespoons of sunflower oil.
Sunflower oil will give shine and olive oil will give taste to your bulgur pilaf.
Meanwhile add the washed bulgur wheat.
Roast the bulgurwheat about three or four minutes.
Add two and a half cups boiling water into the deep pan.
Add one teaspoon of salt.
Cook the burghul pilaf about fourteen or fifteen minutes until some holes form on the pilaf.
When bulgur pilaf absorbs all its water, your bulgur wheat pilaf is ready.
Serve your bulgur pilaf with some pickles or yogurt.
