Red Plum Jam Ingredients
2 Kg Plum
3 Cups of Granulated Sugar (600 ml)
2/3 Cups of Water (133 ml)
Juice of 1 Lemon
How to Make Plum Jam?
Wash two kilograms of red plums with plenty of water.
Remove the seeds of the red plums with the help of a fruit knife.
Take the plums which has no seeds into a deep pot.
Add 2/3 cup (one hundred and thirty mililiters) of water into the deep pot.
Start cooking process.
While plums are boiling, do not forget to remove the foam.
Cook the plums about fifteen minutes.
Take the boiled plums aside for cooling.
Strain the plums after cooling with the help of a colander by using a spoon or using your hands.
After straining start to cook the plum puree again.
Add three cups (six hundred mililiters) of granulated sugar.
Again do not forget to take the foam while plums are cooking.
The consistency of the plum jam will start to get thicker.
Add juice of a one lemon.
If the consistency is not too runny, your red plum jam is ready.
Take the plum jam into the glass jars when it is hot.
Keep the jams at room temperature to get cool.
Lastly take them in the refrigerator to store them.
Serve your plum jam at breakfast with your pancakes.
