Cured Black Olives Ingredients
5 Kg of Black Olives
Half Cup of (100 ml) Salt
Half Cup of (100 ml) Olive Oil
Preserving Olives at Home
Keep some black olives in the five liter water bottles with salt and olive oil at least three months.
You must roll the water bottles every day during one or one and a half months at least.
Your black olives will be ready to be eaten after three months.
When three months passed, get out the black olives from the water bottles.
Wash the black olives with plenty of water.
Drain the black olives well.
Keep the black olives on a clean cloth on the kitchen stall to dry out for three days.
After three days they will dry and will become darker.
Take the black olives into the clean glass jars.
Pour some olive oil into the jars.
Olive oil prevents black olives to decay.
Close the cap of the glass jar.
Shake the glass jar well.
And keep the black olives in the refrigerator.
You can serve the black olives by pouring some olive oil on it at breakfast.
