Apricot Jam Ingredients
1 Kg Apricot
Half Kg of Granulated Sugar
Juice of One Lemon
1 Teaspoon of Butter
How to Make Apricot Jam?
Wash one kilogram of apricot well.
Peel the apricots.
Remove the seeds of the apricots.
Put the cleaned apricots into a deep pot.
Pour half kilogram of granulated sugar on the cleaned apricots.
Leave apricots in granulated sugar, in the closed pot at room temperature for one night (at least eight hours) if possible to release their water.
When the apricots release their water, start cooking.
Remove the foam of the apricot jam.
Add one teaspoon of butter.
Cook the apricots maximum fourty minutes.
Add juice of one lemon to the apricot jam.
If the consistency is not too runny, the apricot jam is ready.
Put the apricot jam into the glass jars when it is hot.
Cool the jam at the room temperature.
When the jam gets cool, put it into the refrigerator.
